Attempting the "fill the bucket with the sponge" game. I found out it doesn't work out so well with 4 and 5 year olds. The concept of waiting in line and taking your turn didn't click with them.
Drew and I recently celebrated our 9 year anniversary. I can hardly believe 9 years has already flown by. It's crazy! I wish I had our wedding photos digitized so I could post some. The past 9 years have involved 4 job changes for Drew, 6 moves, 2 children, and many wonderful memories. I have the greatest husband in the world. I love him so much and I look forward to spending eternity with him and our family.
One memory I have is our 5th anniversary. I was very pregnant with Blake and was actually having contractions all day. I couldn't let it ruin our big day, so we decided to go out to dinner to celebrate. We took Ethan with us knowing that the next few days he might be feeling a little neglected. I was having some hard contractions all through dinner that night. Luckily we were in a more secluded area of the restaurant so nobody could really see or hear my periodic grunts. I ended up going in that next day and delivered Blake.
Blake is now 4 years old. I threw him his first "friends" birthday party this year. We set up one of our bouncehouses and filled up the pool and had a water party. My sister came up with her kids and helped out. She was a lifesaver, I don't know if I could have done it on my own. I can hardly believe my Blakesters is 4 years old. He is such a little man. He idolizes his father and wants to be just like him. One of his favorite things to do is to "help" dad do jobs around the house, as long as some sort of tool is being used he is more than willing to help. He is such a fun kid who keeps us on our toes all the time. We love you Blake William Davis!!
